50 Cent to produce a TV series about Hushpuppi
American rapper and producer Curtis James Jackson III, popularly known as 50 Cent, has announced plans to release a film series based on notorious Nigerian internet fraudster Ramon Abbas.
Abbas, better known as Hushpuppi, was arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in June 2020 for defrauding more than 1.9 million people, the majority of whom were Americans.
He was then extradited to the United States on July 3 of that year to stand trial.
As reported earlier FIVE:The United States District Court, which sits Monday in the Central District of California condemned Hushpup 11 years and three months after he pleaded guilty to laundering the proceeds of school funding fraud, business email compromise and other fraudulent cyber schemes.
The 37-year-old man had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges brought during the trial.
By sharing pictures of the convict, 50 Cent reported it through himself Instagram: On Wednesday, he revealed that he was working on a film project based on the story of Hushpuppy.
The founder of G-Unit Records wrote in the caption: “For my cheaters I have to do this. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLG, Green Light Gang I don’t miss. #Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv”.
