Effects of mobile games on human life
There is a difference between raising children today and the way their parents were raised by their parents. The main reason for this difference is new scientific inventions. One of these inventions is the smartphone, mobile phones with large screens of about six to ten inches that have the ability to entertain a person whenever and however they want. As a hammer is to Thor, a cell phone is to its owner. One feels paralyzed when one is away from one’s mobile phone.
Video games are and have always been the best source of entertainment since their invention. If you look back, not much, but just a decade ago people were playing video games on bulky computers. Then play stations and X-box took over the world of video games. Now mobile phones, in everyone’s hands, are leading the way.
We can look at the ways in which mobile games affect human life. A rough estimate of the age group that is more likely to play video games is 10-25 years. They have little knowledge of the realities of the world. This is the age when a person can have a lot of experience of how things are in the world by traveling around and interacting with other members of society. Video games have affected their relationships with peers. They spend most of their time playing in front of screens They hardly participate in solving social problems that affect their ability to communicate with each other.
There is no shortage of mobile game genres, for example; fighting, shooting, sports, flight simulation, makeup games and surgery games. Such games can be very informative and can provide knowledge beforehand to children. Take the example of a child playing driving. Let’s assume that the child has no real life driving experience. Of course, playing a video game cannot give the feeling of real life, no matter how good the graphics are, but he will learn a lot about cars. Likewise, surgery games that give most of the information about human anatomy and make the player feel like a real doctor saving lives, provided they don’t cringe at the sight of blood.
The disadvantages of video games are stronger than their advantages. There is no denying all the bad effects of video games. A child who grew up on these video games can hardly shake off the video game mode. For example, there is no movement rule compliance in games, nor are game developers looking into it to make their game more fun. So when that kid is driving a real car, he’s playing that game in the back of his head that he used in his childhood and driving as recklessly as he did in the game.
