No one can make you feel worthless
When you know your worth, no one can make you feel worthless. Nothing goes away until it teaches us what we need to know. When we learn from our past mistakes, then no one can judge us.
True. It’s easy to focus on the negative aspects of our lives instead of the positive.
It makes us feel that everything is wrong and that there is nothing good in our life. We may find that we have feelings of worthlessness or guilt, or that we feel worthless and helpless.
But we can turn those negative thoughts into positive ones. Make a list of the main negatives in your life and think about them one by one. If you’re blaming yourself for everything, try rethinking each problem to see if there might be an alternative explanation. Then try to figure out what you can do to create some positive results for each of your problems. This can be done by asking someone you trust, such as a friend or family member, to help you with this.
If you’ve struggled with trust issues, you’re not alone. People develop negative thoughts about themselves for a variety of reasons, but with some support, you can transform those old ideas of worthlessness into new ones that are productive and promote positivity. You may feel depressed right now, but with practice you can recover and feel good.
Problems with futility stem from several sources and vary from person to person. Negative thought patterns can sometimes be overwhelming. However, it is possible to override them and develop positive ones that lift you up. In fact, lack of self-esteem is one of the most common reasons people decide to seek help, and millions of people have successfully overcome their negative feelings.
If you don’t feel like you have any self-esteem, then simply improving your self-esteem is not enough because you won’t believe it internally. You need to improve both to get true, positive beliefs about yourself. Self-esteem is how much you value yourself and it is related to self-esteem because self-esteem is what you perceive about yourself.
Feeling worthless is a strong feeling that can lead to suicide in depressed people. Many people who experience multiple setbacks in their lives such as job loss, financial difficulties, divorce, or not liking the way they look can end up feeling as if their lives have no meaning. Depressed people may feel hopeless and see themselves as failures.
Wondering why feelings of worthlessness aren’t uncommon? it’s because someone else has projected those feelings onto you. We all make mistakes, and focusing too much on the big picture can make us feel pretty inadequate, especially when things don’t go the way we want them to. Instead of striving for perfection and comparing yourself to others, choose to focus on how unique you are.
Try to avoid negative thinking. Telling yourself you have to be a certain way, achieve a certain goal, or have certain things can set you up for failure. This can create unnecessary stress and pressure on you. What you can do is create more productive thoughts and goals that align with your own values.
