The four colors are believed to represent the four seasons of the year and that each card is a day. When you have the cards, they add up to 365, which is the total number of days in a year. There are many little facts like this that add to the interest and mystery of playing cards and how they came to be so many hundreds of years ago.

In auction houses around the world, the oldest packaging in perfect condition goes for literally thousands of dollars and more. The older they are, and if all the cards are there, they can bring huge amounts of money.
