Heavy Duty Round Plastic Injection Molded Nursery Pots
These pots are seen in every part of the nursery, but are rarely sold. They are ideal for plants that will be transported or moved frequently and are particularly suitable for long-term growth.
Durable pots come in a variety of sizes, including:
- The three dry quarts that measure 6.50″ in diameter and 7″ deep. It holds approximately 170 cubic inches of planting medium.
- Four dry quarts are 7.625″ in diameter, 7″ deep and hold 232 cubic inches of media.
- The six dry quarts are 8.375″ in diameter, 8.5″ deep and hold 605 cubic inches of media.
- 12 dry quarts are 10.625″ in diameter, 9″ deep and hold 605 cubic inches of media.
- The dry 20 quart is 13 inches in diameter, 10.625 inches deep and holds 968 cubic inches of medium.
- The dry 28 quart has a top diameter of 16″, depth 15″, and holds 4032 cubic inches of medium.
- The dry 80 quart has a top diameter of 19.675″, a depth of 16.875″, and holds 5376 cubic inches of medium.
Standard round thermoformed plastic children’s pots
These pots are also seen everywhere in the nursery, but are rarely sold. They come in a variety of sizes including:
- The three dry quart 300Cs measure 6.375″ in diameter, 7″ deep and hold 173 cubic inches of potting medium.
- The four liter dry quart 400C is 7.625″ in diameter, 7″ deep and holds 225 cubic inches of media.
- The six dry quart 600Cs are 9 inches in diameter, 8.5 inches deep and hold 375 inches of media.
- The 12-liter dry quart 1200C is 11 inches in diameter, 9.5 inches deep, and holds 699 cubic inches of media.
- The 20 dry quart 2000C is 12″ in diameter and 9.625″ deep.
Thermoformed square plastic pots
These are lightweight and standard plastic nursery pots and come in a box per pot or individual pot. They come in a variety of sizes including:
- The 2.25-inch square pot, which is 2.188 inches in diameter, 3 inches deep, and holds 8.85 cubic inches of potting mix.
- The 3.5 inch square pot is 3.5 inches in diameter, 3.5 inches deep and holds 31.12 cubic inches of potting mix.
- The 4.5-inch square pot is 4.188 inches in diameter, 3.625 inches deep, and holds 48.82 cubic inches of potting mix.
Square trays for carrying pots for nursery
These pots are convenient carrying trays, suitable for moving lots of small square pots in the nursery or around the yard. They hold appropriately sized pots securely and tightly for stability and easy handling.
There are two sizes available for this type of pots. One is the 3.5-inch trays, which hold 18 3.5-inch square pots. Available in a box of 100 trays or on an individual tray. Others are the 4.5-inch trays, which hold 15 4.5-inch square pots and are available in a box of 100 trays or as an individual tray.
